The swim team committee is comprised of volunteers who take time outside of the regular swim season and swim meets to get the team up and running and fulfill our most vital positions. Committee members are not required to fulfill any other volunteer requirement outside of their position and receive a waiver from the registration fee for one swimmer per family. Two people in charge of assigning volunteers to all home and away meets. Responsible for coordinating schedules as well as holding volunteer meetings prior to the start of every home meet.
One volunteer who is responsible for maintaining the team laptop and printer. Enters registered swimmers into the team and meet manager software. Ensures that coaches have seeded the meets within the required timeline and exchanges files with opposing team before the meet. Supervises the computer volunteers during home meets.
Speedy Meet Coordinator:
Volunteer needed to be responsible for the operating of home speedy meets. This is reserved for speedy meet families only. This volunteer will organize set up, timers, start system set up. Need to assign a starter for the meet as well.
Concession Stand Coordinators:
Two volunteers responsible for all aspects of preparing the concession stand for the home meets. Includes purchasing all items necessary, stocking closet with items needed for meets, setting up kitchen area, icing drinks etc. Will have access to team debit card to purchase items needed. Will also coordinate Chick-Fil-A, pizza etc.
End of Season Banquet/Team Events Coordinators:
One or two volunteers who organize all aspects of the end of season banquet. Also responsible for organizing any other gatherings/parties/breakfasts during the regular season.
One person who takes pictures throughout the season at practices, social events and swim meets. Produces a slideshow for viewing at the end of season banquet and publishes the photos for viewing by registered families.
